Wofford in the snow

Meet Angela!

How long have you been at Wofford?
Since mid October 2014.

Favorite book?
Way too many to list, but if I had to name just one it would be The Poisonwood Bible. Runners up would include (but aren't limited to) State of Wonder, Bel Canto and Patron Saint of Liars by Ann Patchett and Year of Wonders and People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks. Also East of Eden and A Thousand Acres. I could go on..... So far this year, my favorites are The Signature of All Things, This Dark Road to Mercy and The Goldfinch.

Favorite movie or tv show?
Again, way too many to list, but one of the top movies would have to be Good Will Hunting. For television, I really enjoy House of Cards and Downton Abbey. And I miss The Sopranos and Breaking Bad.

Favorite quote?
I don't know who said it, but "Just because something can be done, does not mean that it should be done." is a favorite. And also, "Nothing good ever happens after midnight." As the parent of a child who is approaching high school, I can see myself using this one more often in years to come.

What other hats do you wear at Wofford?
As long as it's not a beanie, I'm happy with any hat they want me to wear.

I waste too much time...
worrying about things that never happen. And I definitely waste too much time on my iPad.

These are a few of my favorite things...
My family - husband Lane and daughter Quinn, and our Boston Terrier, Rosie. And my iPad - I believe I mentioned it! But it's amazing - you can email, text, read books, watch movies, tv, listen to music, check up on news all on this little tablet. I'm old enough to remember not having this technology, so I really appreciate it!

One last thing about you?
I love to cook.
