Wofford College Opens Holiday Season With Menorah Lighting

SPARTANBURG, SC -- Wofford College held its annual Menorah lighting and caroling ceremony as the school kicked off the holiday season.

The event started at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Leonard Auditorium as over 100 people gathered to listen to members of the school sing some of the holiday season's favorite songs. About 45 minutes later the crowd gather outside the Main building on campus to light the Menorah.

The school's fraternity row also had its holiday lighting later in the evening. Around 9 p.m. various fraternities and sororities decorated their homes and had their annual lighting ceremony.
