German Classical Music Recital April 30 at Wofford
Follow the Lieder’ to feature 12 student, faculty, staff musicians

SPARTANBURG, SC
- “Follow the Lieder: An Evening of German Classical Music,” is a student-led initiative to bring the beautiful music of German-speaking classical composers to the Wofford College campus and the Spartanburg community. The performance will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, April 30, in Leonard Auditorium in Main Building on campus.
The performance featuring a dozen members of the Wofford faculty, staff and student body is free and open to the public. They will perform some of the most well-known works by composers such as Bach, Mozart and Shubert. The event is sponsored by Delta Phi Alpha, the German National Honor Society; and the German-American Club of the Carolinas.
Performers will include:
•Dr. Jhon Akers, associate professor of Spanish
•Martin Aigner, PC and media specialist in information technology
•Justin Buchanan (class of 2013), Shelby, N.C.
•Jialu Chen (class of 2015), Shanghai, China
•Emily Conrad (class of 2013), Spartanburg
•Tony Ditolla (class of 2013), West Columbia, S.C.
•Melissa Gaddy (class of 2014), Greenville, S.C.
•Sasha Gainen-Truslow (class of 2015), Florence, Mass.
•Nicholas Lowe (class of 2013), Charleston, S.C.
•Greyson Mann (class of 2014), Laurel, Md.
•David Moore (class of 2013), Spartanburg
•Caroline Reid (class of 2012), Spartanburg
Patricia Crisan, a faculty member of the Lawson Academy at Converse College, will be the piano accompanist.
