Shepard named director of admission

1998 graduate has 10 years experience in student recruitment

/uploadedImages/newsroom/newsImagesPhotos/Shepard, Wells 008.jpgSPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wells Shepard of Spartanburg has been named director of admission at Wofford College. The announcement was made today (Monday, July 6, 2009) by Brand Stille, vice president for enrollment.

Shepard, a 1998 graduate of Wofford, has served as the college’s associate director of admission since 2007. Before joining Wofford, he was director of admission at LaGrange College in LaGrange, Ga., and Spartanburg Methodist College. He has more than 10 years of experience in counseling and recruiting students.

Shepard’s wife, Bobbie Jean Edwards Shepard, also is a 1998 graduate of Wofford.
