Baseball exhibition in Greenville

The Wofford baseball team will take on the Greenville Drive, the Class A South Atlantic League affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, Tuesday, April 7, at Flour Field in downtown Greenville. First pitch is slated for 7:00 p.m. Both teams will use wooden bats in the seven-inning exhibition game. The 2009 Southern Conference baseball tournament will be played at Flour Field as well on May 20-24.

The Wofford alumni office has a special deal for Terriers looking to congregate for the game. Call and order your tickets for the game with your credit card by calling 864-597-4208 and receive a seat in section 101 or 102 near the Wofford dugout AND get a cup good for a free soda for only $7.00.

Tickets must be purchased by 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday to be part of the group deal. A pre-game gathering for Wofford will be held at 5:00 p.m. at Liberty Tap Room's Back Patio, located adjacent to Flour Field just beyond the right field wall.
