Wofford College presents Edwin McCain Band on April 27

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford College will present the Edwin McCain Band in concert on Thursday, April 27, on the campus intramural field. Gates open at 7 p.m.

Special guest band Obsession Day will perform beginning at 8 p.m., with the Edwin McCain Band starting at 9 p.m.

General public tickets are $20, plus service charges, and are available through the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium (864-582-8107) or through TicketMaster at All tickets are general seating.

Tickets for Wofford students, faculty and staff are $10 and may be purchased in the Student Affairs Office only on designated days and times: Tuesday, April 11, and Thursday, April 13, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 3-5 p.m. Additional dates will be posted by Student Affairs.

Guests at the concert may bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating; no bleachers or other seating will be provided. Concession stands will be available. No coolers or pets will be allowed. Wrist bands will be distributed to those 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.

The rain location is the Benjamin Johnson Arena.

Parking is $5 per vehicle, and will be available in lots on Cumming Street near Gibbs Stadium and the intramural field. Twitty Street from North Pine Street will be closed to traffic.
