Wofford College Makes Personnel Changes

SPARTANBURG, SC—Jean P. Blackley has been named director of human resources, and Dianne Fuller has moved to the position of coordinator of special projects and assistant to Dr. David Wood, senior vice president, at Wofford College.

Fuller began working at Wofford in 1984 as a secretary/editorial assistant in the Office of Communications. She became personnel specialist and assistant to the vice president for business in 1989, and became a human resources specialist in the late 1990s, a position she held until she was named to her new position. Fuller, who grew up in Camden, S.C., attended Palmer Business College in Columbia and was a member of the Spartanburg Human Resources Association. She has two grown children.

Blackley previously was vice president of human resources at Guilford Technical Community College in Jamestown, N.C. She has held various human resources management positions in various corporations, including CIBA-GEIGY, American Home Products and Goodyear.

She is a graduate of Pace University in White Plains, N.Y., and received her master’s degree from North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro. She also studied at the Cornell University School of Industrial Relations in New York City and the Concord University School of Law in Los Angeles.

Blackley is vice chairwoman of the board of directors of the New Day Clubhouse in Spartanburg and is a graduate of Leadership Spartanburg Class of 2002. She is married to Donnie Blackley, district summary court judge for the Magistrate’s Office in Greer. They have one daughter, Sonja Little.
