Site receives CASE Award of Excellence
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford College’s Web site has been recognized as one of the top five college and university sites in the Southeast by the Council of Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
The Wofford Office of Communications and Marketing received an Award of Excellence for Overall Web Site Design and Implementation in the annual CASE Advancement Awards program for colleges and universities in the District III competition. The district encompasses South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi.
The new Wofford Web site was designed by Creative Edge of Spartanburg, under the direction of staff in the Offices of Communications and Marketing and Information Management.
The awards were announced recently at the 2007 CASE District III Conference in Nashville, Tenn.
The Web site also is featured in a case study on the site of Ektron, the company that provides the content management system software used on the Wofford site. The case study can be found at http://www.ektron.com/customers.aspx?id=4242.
