SPARTANBURG, SC—Hundreds of youth from across the state are expected to converge on the Wofford College campus for the South Carolina United Methodist Youth Annual Conference next week.
The conference, which starts Monday, July 6, and continues through Friday, July 11, is presented by the South Carolina Conference Council on Youth Ministries. The theme of the conference will be “PG – Praising God.”
The Youth Annual Conference will bring some 400 young people and 50 adult staff members to Wofford’s campus. Each church in the S.C. Methodist Conference is invited to send youth delegates to the conference, where they are challenged by guest speakers, participate in musical programs, worship and bond together. It is open to rising eighth-graders through those who have completed 12th grade.
Wofford has been the site of the conference for a number of years.
