Wofford Christmas Concert, Other Events Change Schedules
Tuesday, December 02, 2003
SPARTANBURG, SC – The Wofford College Music Department Christmas Concert has been rescheduled to Friday, Dec. 5, to avoid a conflict with the Division I-AA quarterfinal-round playoff football game scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 6, at Gibbs Stadium.
The Terriers will play the defending national champion Western Kentucky at the 4 p.m. game on Saturday.
The annual Christmas Concert, a holiday tradition for both the Wofford community and the Spartanburg community at-large, originally had been scheduled on Saturday evening. The late start of the football game necessitated moving the concert to Friday.
The 7 p.m. concert in Leonard Auditorium is free and open to the public.
Also this weekend, Wofford will hold its annual Lessons & Carols on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 11 a.m. in Leonard Auditorium. This traditional holiday service also is free and open to the public.
