Wofford bestows academic, leadership honors on students

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford College recognized academic, leadership, service and citizenship on Thursday, May 3, 2007, as students received awards for their achievements during the annual Honors Convocation.

Vanessa Juliet Lauber, a rising senior from Taylors, S.C., was named the 23rd Presidential International Scholar.  She will spend the 2007-08 academic year traveling to developing countries on a self-designed independent project.
