Legacy Award
 

A legend is someone who leaves a legacy. The AMS Legacy Award celebrates the positive and lasting legacy Eric L. Marshall, a 2007 alumnus, left on the Wofford community. While at Wofford, Eric was an extraordinary influence for many students. As a star athlete on the basketball team, he founded Souljah’s for Christ, a student led Bible study that is still active today. He was a humble man, committed husband, and a devoted father. Many still say his character exemplified the type of moral excellence that continues to transcend his absence today.

To honor Eric and recognize another who is following in his footsteps, the Senior class would like for you to nominate one Senior student of color who emulates his legacy by demonstrating: noble leadership, sincerity, a pure servant’s heart, trustworthiness, honesty, citizenship and love for humankind. By doing so, you are not only remembering a legend, but continuing an indefinite legacy.
