Student Support
The Transitions Program was begin in 1996 by
students Lanecia Rouse and Tommy Woods, who wanted to provide
first-year, minority students resources to make transition into college
life easier. Since then, the program has evolved to become the premiere
program of the department. The office of Multicultural Affairs provides a
tremendous amount of support to all students (regardless of class standing)
through this program. Click here to learn more about it.
