Student Works

in the style of
Elizabeth Murray

Prof. Alice Kay McMillan’s students have been studying the free-form works of Elizabeth Murray (1940-2007), an American draughtsman, painter, and printmaker. Students were asked to do a project with emphasis on relationships between shapes, and were instructed to do away with the rectangle right at the beginning for this assignment. Since Elizabeth Murray’s work does exactly that, it was chosen to help with inspiration.
