The Writing Center Tutors
Leia Boudet is a senior from Columbia, SC, who is majoring in English and History. While she wants to attend graduate school and get a PhD in English, she is also an artist, who has won several local and high-school awards for her charcoal portraits and abstract paintings. In addition to tutoring in the Writing Center at Wofford for the past two years, Leia did a research project for the Community of Scholars in 2008, writing an article examining the social and economic ramifications of the Turkish-Greek Population Exchange of 1923. Additionally, Leia is the secretary of the English Honor Society at Wofford and a Wofford Ambassador.
Justin Cook is a junior majoring in Government and minoring in English. He is a Sigma Nu, and really enjoys the Greek life at Wofford. He also enjoys playing guitar and singing in his free time.
Hannah Jarrett is a History and English major from Chapin, SC. She hopes to attend graduate school in order to become a librarian/archivist. She has an odd affection for soy milk, long novels, alligators, and boats.
Jessica Lee, an English major from Aiken, SC, will be a junior this fall. Although she has committed herself to an English degree, she is passionate about all the humanities and especially enjoys history and philosophy. Besides her passion for the humanities, she loves music (especially singing), studying feminism and the Middle East (not necessarily together), eating ice cream, worshipping at United, being in nature, and everything about Wofford of course!
Ashley Mancill is a senior English major and History minor at Wofford. In addition to working in the Writing Lab, she works as a section editor for the Bohemian and was the editor-in-chief of The Wofford E/P. She hopes to pursue a career in editing and publishing after graduation.
Sarah Moore is a sophomore and a double major in Government and English. She is also involved in Wofford Ambassadors, O-staff, Greek life, Twin Towers, APO, and theatre.
Lyn Radke was born and raised outside Greenville/Spartanburg before becoming an English/Philosophy major at Wofford. She enjoys reading, traveling, and taking photographs. Her current plan is to enjoy her final few years of freedom before pursuing a graduate degree in journalism in 2011.
