Philanthropy

On the National Level, the Nu Chi Chapter along with many other members of Kappa Alpha Psi focuse their attention on the children of the St. Judes Hospital. Kappa Alpha Psi has donated over 500,000.00 to the patients of the hospital.

On the Local Level, the Nu Chi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi has sponsored numerous events of Community Service:

Achievement Day - The Nu Chi members volunteered their services to the Park Hills Boys and Girls Club in Spartanburg to spend the day with the children. They supplied inflatables, food and drinks and was also assisted by many volunteers of students from the USC Upstate and Wofford College campus.

Kappa Loves the Kids - The Nu Chi members set up a fun filled day for children in the Spartanburg area.

Terrier Play Day - This was an event sponsored by Wofford College for children around the Spartanburg Area where the Nu Chi members supplied and operated a dunking booth.

Macedonia Rap Session - The Nu Chi members set a day where they talked to the youth of Spartanburg about numerous topics & concerns.

Pie a Kappa - The Nu Chi members allowed students around the USC Upstate campus to pie them in the face in exchange for donations towards St. Judes Children Hospital

MLK Basketball Camp - The Nu Chi members spent the day with children around the Spartanburg area to teach them the fundamentals of Basketball.
