Interim permits students and professors to concentrate for the month
of January on a single study project of his or her choosing. Interim projects are designed to move beyond traditional classroom courses and teaching methods, to consider important topics in relevant ways and places, to observe issues in
action, to develop capacities for independent learning, and to encourage the
responsible self-direction of educational development.
Did you know that Interim has been a fixture on campus
since the 1960’s? Learn a little more about Interim at Wofford here.
Interim offers a multitude of options for traveling. Apply
for a Wofford Travel Grant to help make your experience more affordable.
Have a unique and burning interest? Why not
propose your own Independent Study Project and spend the month of January
investigating and learning more about it.
