Blue Key Honor Society
The Blue Key Honor Society seeks to honor students’ individually for their character, scholarship, leadership and service. Its motto, “serving, I live,” is intended to foster the concept that it is a desirable goal to express one’s life and character in what one is able to accomplish. Wofford’s Blue Key chapter comes together to serve the campus and the greater community by participating in both Terrier Play Day and the Halloween Carnival, and every year organizing and hosting a Faculty Appreciation luncheon in the spring.
The Blue Key National Honor Fraternity was founded at the University of Florida in 1924. Wofford College has one of the oldest chapters of Blue Key, chartered on April 24, 1926.
The faculty advisor is Dr. Jameica B. Hill, Professor of Chemistry.

Pledge & Prayer
Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace Where there is hatred, let me sow love, Where there is injury, pardon, Where there is doubt, faith, Where there is despair, hope, Where there is darkness, light, Where there is sadness, joy, O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, To be understood, as to understand, To be loved, as to love, For it is giving that we receive, It is in pardoning that we are pardoned, And it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
-St. Francis of Assisi
