Cost of membership

The first year of affiliation is the most expensive year primarily due to one-time fees such as initiation fees, pin fees, or lifetime membership fees.  Fees during the first year range from $575 to $1,620.  Students should ask a representative of the specific fraternities or sororities they are interested in joining about the costs of membership and the level of dues.  New and active members pay annual dues that fund operational expenditures.  These dues are payable at the beginning of each semester.  Members may also be assessed for special social events and philanthropic activities.  Reasonable and flexible individual payment plans are available in each chapter.
