Gifts of all sizes matter
All
gifts to Wofford’s Annual Fund, large and small, combine to create a
powerful source of support for the college. In 2011, alumni, parents,
and friends contributed 2.74 million dollars to the Annual Fund,
impacting nearly every aspect of operations at Wofford College.
Gifts
from alumni are especially significant because they directly influence
Wofford’s ability to compete for foundation and corporate gifts, as well
as increasing its standing in guides such as Peterson's Competitive
Colleges, The Princeton Review and U.S. News & World Report. In
2011, 40% of alumni gave to the college.
