Students studying outside the library

Welcome Class of 2021!

We are excited that you have decided to make Wofford College your home for the next four years.  When you arrive on campus for Summer Orientation you will receive the Gold Guide; if you are unable to attend Summer Orientation, a copy will be mailed to your permanent mailing address.  The Gold Guide is your one stop resource for the things you need to know as you prepare to enroll at Wofford.  It includes information on Orientation, Registration, Housing, Dining, and Departments and Programs.   This is your first-year guidebook and the first place you should look when you have a question about anything related to living and learning at Wofford.  You should plan to bring the Gold Guide with you when you return to campus in the fall.

Use the Summer to Prepare:

  1. Read the Gold Guide, cover to cover.
  2. Regularly access myWofford to stay update on completing your Student Checklist on the FYI tab.
  3. Regularly check your Wofford email.  All communications regarding registration, housing, living learning communities, etc, will be sent to that address.
  4. Plan your Fall 2017 class schedule and register for classes.

After Reading the Gold Guide:

You may want/need additional information about the Humanities (HUM) 101 courses, Living Learning Communities, registration, foreign language placement, academic policies and degree requirements.  That information can be found by accessing the links below.
