    One of the largest employers within the central city of Spartanburg, Wofford College has 350 full-time and over 70 part-time employees. During the 2009 academic year, there were 117 full-time teaching faculty members at Wofford; 90 percent of them have earned a doctoral or other terminal degree. Alumni of more than 65 different graduate schools are currently members of the Wofford community.
