Jennifer Dillenger provides the core leadership for the multi-year BRICS Initiative. Jennifer is a 2007 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Wofford College and a candidate for the M.B.A. degree from the Darla Moore School of Business at University of South Carolina.

Scott Cochran, Dean of The Mungo Center for Professional Excellence, and Laura Barbas-Rhoden, Associate Professor of Foreign Languages, both with extensive experience in global environments, will collaborate with Jennifer on the inaugural 2012-13 BRICS Initiative: Brazil.

Scott’s business experience includes 20 years of US and international executive-level positions in finance, marketing, supply chain, and operations. He has spent a significant amount of time working in China and Europe and understands the complexity of global economies.

Laura has fifteen years teaching experience in the humanities and interdisciplinary studies. She founded an award-winning civic engagement program and assisted in the creation of the environmental studies program at Wofford College. She is the author of two books and more than a dozen articles on cultural reactions to economic, political, and environmental change in Latin America.

The complementary backgrounds of Jennifer, Scott , and Laura, along with their unique skill sets, allow them to deliver an unmatched professional experience to BRICS Initiative students.
