Book Exhibit: Information for Publishers and Authors
 | The space: The book exhibit will be held in the large and beautiful Great Oaks Hall located in the Milliken Science Center, which is centrally located on Wofford’s campus. Adjacent to a coffee café, attendees will enjoy browsing the displays and lounging in the comfortable seating located throughout the hall. Wireless and wired Internet access is also available throughout the hall and in most locations on campus. |
 | Tables and fees: The attractive wooden tables available for your use are part of the permanent furniture in the Great Oaks Hall. The cost of display space on our large 11’ X 4’ tables (shown) is $150 for the whole table. The cost is $75 for each of the following: half of a large table, a 5’ round table, or a 6’ X 4’ table. Additional folding tables ($150 full/$75 half) will be added as demand necessitates – permanent tables will be allocated on first come/first served basis. |
Security: A public safety guard is on duty 24 hours a day at the main reception desk located in the Great Oaks Hall. Therefore, although Wofford cannot accept liability for lost or stolen items, displays should be safe to leave in place throughout the week. There are also secure rooms located adjacent to Great Oaks Hall where books and other supplies can be stored on a temporary basis.
Conference Registration Fees for Publishers: If publisher representatives who have paid for display tables would also like to attend any part of the conference, registration is an additional $85 for the first registrant and $65 for the second. Independent authors who are registered for the conference are welcome to collaborate with others to purchase table display space and share the work of monitoring your table.
We ask that those registering for the conference at the reduced exhibitor rate limit themselves to those attending the conference "primarily" as exhibitors. We hope that those coming primarily to attend sessions, but who might help out by staffing an exhibit table for a short time, will consider themselves full conference participants and register at the regular rate.
Pre-conference shipmentsof books: Boxes of books will be accepted beginning May 14, 2007 for storage (please note that no storage is available prior to that date). Boxes should be clearly labeled "Books for ASLE Conference" and include the name of the publisher or author on the outside of the box. The boxes can be mailed to:

Post-conference: Please be aware that Wofford, its bookstore, and the conference co-hosts will not be responsible for return shipping of unsold books. Any books that remain in the Great Oaks Hall display after 5:00 p.m. on June 16, 2007, or in "pre-conference" storage after June 30, 2007, will become the property of Wofford College.
