Welcome to the Wofford Art Tour

Since its founding in 1854, Wofford College has amassed a sizeable collection of works of art. In the nineteenth century, the collection was limited to portraits, including works by Thomas Wightman, William C. Barclay, and Albert Guerry. In more recent years the collection has expanded greatly. It now includes a large group of Hungarian paintings, prints and paintings by contemporary artists, as well as sculptures by Gutzon Borglum, Marshall Frederick, Harold Krisel and others. This on-line tour is our attempt to share our collection with the wider world.
