A Wofford Wedding
The Cook's Love Story
As told by Justin '11 and Lindsey Cook '11
Justin Cook ’11 and Lindsey Huston ’11 shared many of the same friends during their first three years at Wofford, and Justin considered Lindsey to be one of his “bros”. He took Lindsey to his Sigma Nu Fall House during their senior year, and they’ve been best friends ever since. They started dating in January 2011, after deciding they weren’t ready to part ways after graduation.
Two years later, on a beautiful, snow-covered New Year’s Day, Justin proposed to Lindsey in her hometown of Cincinnati. They were married at Covenant-First Presbyterian Church in Cincinnati on August 3, 2013. Several Wofford alums were in the wedding party, including: Meg Lindsay ’11, Laura Mitchell ‘11, Kensey Wheeler ’11, Ryan Linton ’10, Parker Spires ’09, Luke Wingo ’12, and Kiefer Ogburn ’13 served as best man.
From friends, to professors, to each other, Justin and Lindsey didn’t expect to meet so many people at Wofford that continue to play such integral roles in their lives. They look forward to their lives together, and are both thankful for their Wofford family.
All of us at Wofford love a good Wofford love story! Thank you Justin & Lindsey for sharing your photos and your story with us.
