The Sandor Teszler Library Gallery | Teszler Collection of Hungarian Paintings In the late Nineteenth century a number of Hungarian artists left their homeland for study in Western Europe, particularly France. Returning home they continued to create works which reflected the influences and techniques learned in the West, but with a distinctive Hungarian subject matter and presentation. In 1991 the late Sandor Teszler presented to Wofford College his collection of Hungarian paintings from this period. In recent years the collection has been augmented by additional Hungarian paintings by Drs. Francis and Livia Robicsek of Charlotte, NC.

Martha Cloud Chapman Gallery, Campus Life BuildingPhotographs by Stephen StinsonFor as long as he can remember Stephen Stinson has visually noticed the world around him. Becoming a photographer at an early age and graduating from the Art Institute of Atlanta with a degree in photography, he realized that being aware of his surroundings is part of who he is. “As an artist I see things and notice objects and light that others pass by without a thought.” Having spent his career as a photographer for advertising, corporate, and editorial clientele he has continued to photograph landscapes and the life around him in his development as a photographer.
