Holisa C. Wharton and Ellen Burris Smith

News: Graduated from Clemson University December 20, 2012. Ellen approached me and asked if she could ask me a personal question. I said of course. She said did you attend Wofford. I said yes and she informed me that I was her residence advisor in Greene Dormitory. How ironic 18 years later we would be graduating at the same time from Clemson. I was the one of the first two graduates of the Doctoral Healthcare Genetics Program and Ellen was a member of the first graduating class of accelerated program baccalaureate nurses ( a program for students that desire a nursing degree but hold a degree in an area other than nursing.) I am not sure of Ellen’s class year.
