Certification Suggestions

Certified in Financial Management (CFM) 
The CFM is issued by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). It is designed to recognize professionalism in the field of financial management and is suitable for either an accounting or a finance major. The applicant must pass a four-part exam and satisfy an experience requirement. The exam may be taken when you are a senior or after graduation. Certified Management Accountant (CMA)

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) 
The CPA is a licensure/certification issued through a state government. State laws vary regarding requirements to sit for the CPA and requirements, such as experience, to obtain certification. Most states now require an applicant to have earned 150 credit hours before sitting for the exam. However, specific details, such as courses required, vary.
