The peer tutoring program provides students with an opportunity to receive academic help in their courses in any subject.

The Writing Center provides peer tutoring at all stages of the writing process. The role of Writing Center tutors is not to proofread or “fix” papers before they’re turned in, but to respond thoughtfully to papers at any stage of the writing process and to help students improve their writing through discussion and instruction.

Do you "know" the material but struggle to perform well on tests? Are you studying longer but seeing little improvement in your grades? Do you want some new study strategies? Would you like to rethink your time management to avoid writing papers the night before a paper is due? Dr. Carol Wilson will be glad to meet with you to talk about achieving your learning and performance goals. Contact her at wilsoncb@wofford.edu or 864.597.4577.
