Career Highlights:
The youngest senior vice president in the nation for the American Heart
Association, Coker Gamble oversees corporate relations for six
southeastern states and Puerto Rico. Since joining the American Heart
Association, the nation's largest non-profit, devoted to reducing
cardiovascular disease, she has been promoted six times in five years.
Gamble has earned numerous awards for her work with the American Heart
Association, including Rookie of the Year for outstanding professional
performance, three consecutive Outstanding Fundraising Performance
awards, the Sophomore of the Year award (a new award specifically
developed to recognize Gamble's achievements), and several 'best in
class' association-wide awards. In December 2005 when Gamble was serving
the organization as senior regional director of the Metro Atlanta
area, she was recognized as one of the organization's most promosing 'up
and coming' leaders at the national leadership conference in Dallas,
Texas.
