Career Highlights:
A
government major at Wofford who served as secretary, vice president and
president of Wofford’s Campus Union, Leigh continued to pursue his
interest in government and politics after graduation. He worked on the
legislative staff of U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions in Washington, D.C., before
being appointed at the age of 25 to serve as deputy state treasurer for
Alabama. In 2009, he accepted a position as vice president of external
affairs at Huntingdon College.
In 2004, Leigh represented
Alabama at the 2004 Republican National Convention in New York as an
alternate delegate. In 2004, he also participated in the Alabama
Leadership Initiative.
An active member of Frazer Memorial United
Methodist Church in Montgomery (the fourth largest Methodist Church in
America), Leigh serves on the board of stewards, the staff-parish
committee and as a youth Bible study leader.
Leigh maintains a

spotlight Wofford people in Alabama.
